UPDATE: Saturday, 12-DEC-2009
John Jones's game "Mistletoe Wedding" was a Flag Encounter game, which was an experiment in running a different style of game. The encounters were a LOT of fun, and even though there were serious slow spots in the game everyone seemed to have a good time. I know I had a blast in the encounters!

Details will be in the
January newsletter.

UPDATE: Monday, 14-NOV-2009
Reunion was a serious hoot! Contests, QuerShatta, Dainga, Navarro, lots of attitude, PCs being possessed en masse, and even a chaotic evil demi-God! Lots of serious fun, and a fabulous - and I do mean FABULOUS - smoked turkey lunch with LOTS of side dishes and LOTS of dessert! Marvelous

Details will be in the
November/December newsletter.

UPDATE: Monday, 02-NOV-2009
Trials of the Dark Goddes was a wicked fun, BRUTAL mini-game! People that PC'd got to NPC, and I'm hoonestly not sure which was more fun!

In addition, we had an outdoor Board Meeting in perfect weather, under a shady tree at Winter Park. It was truly lovely!

Details will be in the
October newsletter.

UPDATE: Monday, 28-SEP-2009
Samurai Of Death was a raging success. We had people from A-Kon and from AnimeFest show up to both PC and NPC, and they unanimously enjoyed themselves throroughly!

We had 4 teams of 6 PCs run through the game, which was compelte with singing Siamese Cat villains, color-coordinated bad guys, anime-possessed PCs, and hordes of fun.
Important safety tip: Do not tease the big bad guy when he's down - he may call for reinforcements!   :)

Details will be in the
October newsletter.

UPDATE: Monday, 14-SEP-2009
Only two of us made it through the raion to help John clean up tghe shed, but we got 'er done. Details and minutes of the Board meeting will be in the
September newsletter.

UPDATE: Monday, 07-SEP-2009
Animefest 2009 was a hoot! The mini-game "Midnight Shuffle" has slots for teams from 8:00 pm until 5:00 am. We started recruiting for the game around 1:00 pm and by 4:30 in the afternoon every slot was filled. Not only were the slots filled, most teams went from a 4 person team to a 7 or 8 person team!

As you might expect, not everyone who signed up actually SHOWED up, but we filled teams almost effortlessly as people walked up and wanted to be put into the game! A special "thank you" goes to David Wood, who was FANTASTIC!!! He controlled the crowds, ran the sign-up desk, organized and prepped the teams, and NPC'd! We ran teams through starting at 8:00 pm; the last team started at 3:30 am. Pat figures we ran 47 new people through the game. We finished cleaning up a bit after 5:00 am.

Highlights: David Wood and Nathan Tryon roaming the crowds busking for the game, the ride in the strech Hummer limo, dinner at Sonny Bryan's, and of course: the game!
Details will be in the
October newsletter.

UPDATE: Tuesday, 01-SEP-2009
The solo Thief game I Only Want To Touch It was AWESOME! It took a while for everyone to loosen up and get into "Thief mode", but once they did, it was superb! There was LOTs to do, a phenomenal mini-line-course, great food, and so very much more! It was WELL worth the trip and being wiped out the next day!   :)
More detailed reports will be included in the
August Newsletter.

UPDATE: Friday, 28-JUL-2009
Adventures in Averlast and To Save A Mage were a LOT of fun. More detailed reports are included in the
July Newsletter.

UPDATE: Friday, 07-JUL-2009
To Free A Lady, Fight The Knight at A-Kon 20, Averlast, and the mini-games have been a LOT of fun. More detailed reports are included in the
June Newsletter.

UPDATE: Sunday, 26-APR-2009
MANY thanks to the large number of people that came out and helped clean up the Shed. They were thanks both with words and with CAP.

The Board Meeting started a bit late due to the Shed Cleaning, but lasted under an hour. And John made cookies for everyne! After the meeting the Weapons Tournament started and was a boatload of fun. Congrats to the Newbies who beat the Old Farts in the team competition!

Brittney took pictures, and if she sends them to me I'll post them!

And in case you did not know it, the IFGS Shed is at John's house!

After the board meeting, we're having a Weapon's Tournament, so bring your characters along to earn some gold and gain their fearsome new reputations!

Questions about the mini-game?

UPDATE: Monday, 30-MAR-2009
The Board Meeting went of precisely on schedule and lasted just under one hour. The mini-game was changed from "Soul Wind" to "Birthday Bash" to keep the game indoors due to the VERY cold weather. However, the afternoon was lovely and everyone went outside for the insane dagger-melee/capture-the-flag double-elimination team game (whew!) that ran for several hours!

Tina took pictures and if she sends them to me I'll post them!

UPDATE: Monday, 23-MAR-2009
"Into The Woods" ran this past weekend, and despite a few screw-up by the producer , it went off VERY well! Most of the PCs I spoke with indicated that they truly enjoyed the game, and ALL of the NPCs had a blast!

Brittney took pictures on Saturday, and I think on Sunday as well
The pictures for the game are finally
posted!

Many, MANY thanks to ALL of the people who helped make this game run, and be such a success!

UPDATE: Monday, 02-MAR-2009
The 2009 Annual Banquet started off cold, but was a huge success!
Set up done on time, the NPCs got to meet for "Into The Woods", the Board meeting started on time and ended early, lunch was SUPERB, and the mini-game rand from 1:00 pm until dark!
Check the website for pictures and the next newsletter for details of the game, as well as for the minutes of the Board Meeting!

UPDATE: Sunday, 11-JAN-2009
The Board Meeting covered a lot of ground and got the year kicked off nicely!
In fact, this looks to be our best year ever in terms of games! Check out the complete and total awesomeness that is our 2009 schedule!

We also had a mini-game, Resuce Me! that appeared to be enjoyed by all! It was mean, cruel, and horribly evil! Bwaaa-hahahahaha!
Check the next newsletter for details and pictures of the game, as well as for the minutes of the Board Meeting!
