The Bardic competitions were fun and greatly entertaining; we have some genuinely talented people in the Chapter, and many of them showed off their considerable talent, much to the enjoyment of all!

UPDATE: Thursday, 23-APR-2008

The 2008 Annual Banquet went off beautifully! We had almost 40 people attend and everyone seemed to have a great time! If you were not there we hope to see you at the next game, sometime in May.

And by the way, the drive from Dallas to Weatherford takes just over an hour if you do not get lost! Just be sure to FOLLOW the directions!

PLEASE NOTE: A set of reports was generated for everyone that attended the Banquet, and these reports have been email to them. However, we had two people that did not provide an email address. Anyone who knows either Angela or Evan please contact them and ask them to send an email to "registry @ dallasifgs.org" providing me their name and a valid email address for them!

The following four reports have been created: If you were NOT at the game and you would like a set of reports generated for you, please send me a request via email. Please be sure to include your NAME and your current contact information!

2008 Annual Banquet & Mini-Game

There will be a Magic Shoppe and a chance for PCs to earn a little gold.

As usual the Banquet fee of $20 per PC gets you your annual membership, lunch, and includes the mini-game fee! Still the best deal in LARPing!

This is a Heroic, slightly silly game with low risk for Good/Honorable parties.
The ability "Soliloquy" can be used by any PC!   :)

Levels 1-7 for the mini-game

Levels 1-3: 8 Total levels
Levels 4-6 18 Total levels
Levels 7+: 30 Total levels

In addition, there will be an additional gaming event available called "Genesis". This will occur all throughout the day, even when the mini-game is running. Those who attend will be able to participate in both events.
Here's the Game Flyer.

There are three separate sets of Lore for these two games:
New Life Orientation.
A Brief History of Runelore.
Shadowlanders Hope.

This event will be held at Greg & Tina Cox's house in Weatherford, TX.
Their house has access to 55 acres of land, around which the game was written.
