IFGS is all about our games, but no game can occur without an IFGS game script. Here are some files that may provides assistance and guidance to those of you who wish to write a game!

Every game requires a script, and every script has a certain set of requirements. Here's a script template that has these requirements explained; it has been provided by the Chapter Sanctioning Committe. Please use it as a guide when completing the encounters in your game!

Here's a blank/empty Encounter Form in the MS Word format you can use when writing your script, and here's a copy as a PDF you can use to view the template.
Please download these forms, and only edit the downloaded forms.

Once the script has been completed, you will need an idea of what it is going to cost to actually run the game; i.e. the cost of production. This cost is, in large part, what determines the PC Fee for the game. Here is a blank Budget Worksheet for you to use in determining the production cost for your game.

In order to run any game, you will need a Registry Representative to handle Check-In, the collection of the various game fees, and the check OUT of everyone who attended the game at the end of the event. Here are a couple of forms to help with those tasks.

This is the standard Check-In Sheet used by the Dallas Chapter.

Remember, if you have any questions DO NOT be afraid to ask any of the more experienced gamers; and by that I mean those in the chapter who have been around for a while and have written and produced games. These people are a veritable font of wisdom, and you would do well to take advantage of their experience.

Enjoy!
